IAB Canada’s 2010-11 MIXX Canada Conference Series is going to be one of our best ever, with Pranav Mistry of MIT leading off our full-day Conference in Toronto on Wed., Sept. 29, 2010,

PLUS more Keynote Speakers to be announced soon…

So who is Pranav Mistry? And why will he get the entire industry talking?

Pranav Mistry is a Desigineer and PhD candidate in the Fluid Interfaces Group at MIT’s Media Lab in Cambridge Massachusetts. He is passionate about integrating digital informational experiences with real-world interactions, and has been called "one of the two or three, best inventors in the world" by Wired’s Chris Anderson. Mistry focuses his research and design around the topics of Gestural + Tangible Interaction, Ubiquitous Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Vision, Collective Intelligence and Robotics. He recently won the Young Innovator Award from MIT’s Technology Review; was named in Creativity Magazine's Creativity 50 in 2010; and, his Sixth Sense - Wear Ur World technology won Popular Science’s Invention Of The Year in 2009.

If you think Social Media and the iPhone changed the marketing game, the technology which Pranav has already developed and patented (and that others are exploring as well), stands to be the single biggest disruptor of both our real, and media life as we know it for a long while to come…
